Glisten Metallic Thread 670m :: Spring Rain This is a metallic wrapped rayon thread. Use with designs that are digitized for metallic thread. This will likely reduce thread breaks. Slow the machine down. Glisten sews well at 850rpm. Avoid using Glisten for small lettering. Use soft and pliable backing. Metallic threads typically have a difficult time getting through hard or stiff backings. Use with a large eye embroidery needle (in Organ brand a model number 15x1 ST). Recommended sizes are 65/9, 70/10, and 75/11. Use a new needle whenever possible. Burns or rough spots on the needle will result in more thread breaks. Reduce and keep tensions loose.
