Aqua Magic Plus is a soft fabric stabilizer that dissolves easily in water. It is ideal for lace, patches, emblems, applique, napkins, fleece, and delicate fabrics. It is best used when complete backing removal is ideal. This stabilizer has a thin layer of adhesive that allows you to stick your fabric to your stabilizer in the hoop.
Also known as Vilene Plus, Wet N Gone Tacky, AquaMesh Plus, and Fabri-Solvy Plus.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Before handling Aqua Magic be sure that hands and work area are completely dry.
- Cut a piece of AquaMesh Plus approximately 2” larger than the hoop.
- Hoop the piece of AquaMesh Plus with the paper side up.
- Use a pin to score ONLY the paper. Remove the paper to expose the sticky adhesive.
- Position the item on the hooped AquaMesh Plus.
- Gently finger press the fabric onto the adhesive without stretching or distorting the fabric.
- Embroider the design.
REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove the item from the hoop.
- Carefully trim away the excess Aqua Magic Plus from around the design, leave about 1/4" stabilizer around the design.
- Completely rinse any remaining stabilizer away under warm running water.
